Portable Engine - geograph.org.uk - 113646 - (Not a...) Traction Engine. In need of a lot of Tender Loving Care. Close to the School House. This is not a traction engine: the wheels are far too lightweight for pulling anything. It is a 'portable engine' -- albeit missing all of its working parts -- which would have been towed to a farm or work site, not moved under its own power.
