Saesaare elektrijaama avamine
In 1991 the Saesaare hydroelectric power plant was privatised and managed by as Generaator.[5] In 1991 and 2012, the power plant was renovated and the turbines (two, one with less water) are working again. However, the positions regarding the green electricity produced in hydropower plants have changed, the environmental impact of the oak-blowns is considered to be significant in preventing the movement of fish and due to the mud accumulating there.[7][8] Two Francis turbines allow the power station to be adjusted within large limits, from a minimum of 0.3 m3/s to a maximum flow through turbine of 3 m3/s.
The owner of the power station is as Generaator (a request for a special water use permit since 2005. A).[9] Tammi is owned by as Generaator, half is located in the RMK land area.[10]
