Jelgava Palace – the former Duke of Kurzeme and Zemgale residence, later the Governor's administrative centre, Viestura Memory Palace, today the home of the Latvian University of Agriculture. The castle of Jelgava is the biggest work of the early period of the remarkable Russian gallery architect Frančesko Bartolomeo Rastrelli and one of the rare monuments of Jelgava's architecture that have been preserved until nowadays.
