Westmäki. Painting fortification before the First World War, defence station II:8 in Westmäki, Vantaa. The picture contains a concrete quadrilateral machine gun station in the northern part of the station. On the left wall there is a cup made for the cooling water tank of the machine converter. On the right wall there is another, smaller cabin, whose purpose is unknown. The roof has been exploded, but the walls and the door hole are intact. In front of the door, there is a large concrete piece left after the explosion. Smaller fires are also on the base of the station. In the picture direction of the south, where the runway that was built on the rock continues.
