Herttoniemi shopping center has been designed by architect Eliel Muoniovaara and completed in 1956. The type representing the pre-stage of the shopping centre, which is associated with the connection of the three-layer office wing in a lower width of the wing. The building is also typical of facade processing, a shattered business building in the 1950s. Originally, the shopping center has had a cinema and several small movements with entrances directly to the street. Several changes and connections have been made in the building. Erätori is an integral part of the rarely intactly preserved residential area of the 1950s.
